About the Bioinforomics Book and Course#
With the advent of high-throughput technologies, such as next-generation sequencing, mass spectrometry, and high-content microscopy vast amounts of data are rapidly generated. Bioinformatics tools and techniques to analyze such omics data are needed to extract meaningful insights from it toward the development of novel therapeutics.
In a joint effort, members of the Ma’ayan Lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, worked collaboratively to create the Bioinforomics book and course, a resource for learning various mainstream computational methods in the field of computational systems biology and pharmacology. The book was created using the Jupyter Book template.
All the members of the Ma’ayan Lab contributed to this book and course. The work in the Ma’ayan Lab is partially funded by NIH grants: OT2OD030160, RC2DK131995, U24CA224260, U24CA264250, R01DK131525, and U24CA271114.
